The heart of Aerotech’s chemical film process is its ability to adhere to stringent aerospace specifications, such as the most widely known in the industry, MIL-DTL-5541. Aerotech performs all types and classes of Chromate Conversion coatings specified in MIL-DTL-5541. We are one of the few Nadcap and Prime approved facilities to offer both types (Type 1 and Type 2), with Type 2 being RoHS compliant non-hex and Type 1 being the standard well-known yellow Alodine.
